Restore dekstop icons to their transparent state

If you happen to find that the desktop icons are no longer transparent and their labels have colored background them, try the following to get  rid of it and give your desktop a smoother look.

1. Go to System properites(control panel-> System)

2. Then click ADVANCED tab

3. Click on the SETTINGS button located within PERFORMANCE section.

4. In the performance option window Select ADJUST FOR BEST APPEARANCE.

5. Clik OK

1. Right click desktop

2.Point to arrange icon by

3.Uncheck LOCK WEB ITEMS ON DESKTOP
